"We are the World" for Haiti

************************************************* 25 Years after original release of "We are the World" made to Aid Africa, we watch today a remake, this time for Aid Haiti. This new version it's about one thing, "Encouraging people to help other's" Point Blank. Hmm I know, what's a good way to do so ? ask one of the most successful men in the music industry (Quincy Jones) to construct a remake of a very inspirational sing. Hire very talented Musicians who actually want to contribute to a worthy cause. Bing ! Listen Folks, this is a great song, moreover this is their way of contributing and I must say I am now truly inspired. I want to give more. (Well now it is a success, this song has manged to encourage at least one person to want to discontinue in his selfishness and give to others). ...of course the intentions is what counts, so why then; - not make a video where you see Haiti and its people, and only hear the singers ? That would have been more in tune with the cause. - talk about money..... yes... it's nice to see rich musicians give some of their time... but, explain how is it that people like PDiddy, Keneye West, and others who themselves came from ghettos... and should be humble... have given so little compared to the millions they spend on themselves ? - let's give praise where praise is worthy, but let's also let some of them know that we are aware of who's putting their money where their mouth is.... this way, they may wake up from their stone illusions and truly give. Nothing wrong with a little bit of criticism that bring the humbleness out of some of these people. Honestly, I loved the first one. This one is different, it's true, but come on people their hearts in the right place. We are the World 2010 shouldn't sound the same as 1985. It's a great remake and a great cause ! Give a little, give whatever you can, just give ! ************************************************* ************************************************* George Clooney hosts a star-studded telethon featuring Madonna, U2, Bruce Springsteen and dozens more to raise money to help earthquake victims in Haiti. (Jan. 23, 2010) ************************************************* This is an original song written and performed by Timothy Donaghy. This song was originally written in memory of my brother, who passed away at the very young age of 34. I thought the words and emotions of this song made sense for really any tragedy, including the Haiti Earthquake - which did so much destruction, as well as ruined an entire nations lives! I hope you find this song great and enjoy it - I think it really captures the "sad and emtional" moments, especially with the slideshow of Haiti Images throughout. In the spirit of Hope for Haiti and the other associations trying to aid these people, please visit my website if you'd not only want more info on this song and how to download it for free - but also to donate to Hope for Haiti. (I put a link on the http://www.rryho.com/haiti.html page for this.
